My Mission
My mission is to support adults over 50 as they adapt to the changes that come with aging—whether it’s shifts in sleep, digestion, weight, mood, or managing chronic conditions. I use evidence-based nutrition and a personalized approach to help people reconnect with their bodies, regain energy, and create a lifestyle that fits who they are today. I don’t emphasize restriction or perfection. Instead, I provide clarity, flexibility, and support that make lasting change possible.
My Specialties
Nutrition Support for Aging Parents and Spouses
Caring for aging parents or a spouse can feel overwhelming, especially when managing their nutrition. As adults age, changes in their bodies affect not only their appetite and health but also their mood and ability to stay active. Whether you’re supporting your aging parents or helping your spouse through a health crisis, understanding these changes is essential. I bring personal experience along with personalized, evidence-based guidance to help improve mood, boost energy, and support overall well-being through balanced, practical nutrition. With compassionate advice tailored to your family’s needs, you can feel more confident in helping your loved ones thrive at every stage of aging.
Gut Health after 50
As we get older, digestive issues like bloating, reflux, gas, constipation, and diarrhea can start to show up more often—and they can really get in the way of feeling our best. Whether it’s due to changes in the gut, new medications, or just not knowing what foods still work for your body, it can be frustrating to figure out. That’s where I come in. I specialize in helping adults 50 and over manage these kinds of gut health issues with practical, evidence-based nutrition advice. Together, we’ll find simple, realistic changes that help you feel more comfortable, confident, and back in control of your digestion.
Better Sleep after 50: Food and Lifestyle make a difference.
Hormonal changes, increased stress, and shifts in metabolic health can all impact your ability to fall asleep and stay rested. I can help identify how blood sugar, caffeine, alcohol, and nutrient gaps impact your rest, while guiding you toward food and lifestyle changes that support hormone balance, reduce stress, and improve metabolism. With the right approach, better sleep and overall health are within reach.
Strong Bones After 50: Smart Nutrition and Fitness Strategies for Lasting Health
Maintaining strength and staying active after 50 means making purposeful choices, especially as shifts in body composition, lifestyle changes, and rising stress levels impact your bone health. Hormonal changes and nutrient absorption can feel challenging, but a dietitian is here to support you. With personalized, science-based nutrition and fitness strategies tailored to your lifestyle, you’ll build stronger bones and keep your body feeling its best.
Optimize Your Health and Energy After 50
As we age, boosting energy, optimizing health, and maintaining strength become essential for living life to the fullest. With personalized, evidence-based nutrition guidance, I help adults over 50 make thoughtful choices that support their unique needs. Together, we’ll create a plan that fuels your body, enhances your strength, and promotes lasting health—so you can enjoy every day feeling vibrant, confident, and strong.
